New puppy = New problems?!? Nipping, chewing, and housetraining? Where to begin? What to do first? What is the most effective way to train your new puppy? When do you start teaching your puppy how to behave?

START NOW!! Don’t wait for problems to develop or get worse! Start off on the right paw with your new puppy by signing up for our puppy class.


Starting off on the Right Paw provides the skills necessary for your puppy to be a true family member:

  • Successful housetraining solutions
  • Useful ways to address jumping up, nipping, chewing, and mouthing
  • Socialization skills to ensure a positive response to the real world
  • Foundation behaviors for success in real life situations

For puppies ages 10 weeks to 6 months

Doggy Manners: Behaving in Real Life!


Has your sweet puppy become an unruly adult? Ignoring you, stealing things, refusing to come, pulling on leash and jumping on everyone? Do the slightest distractions result in uncontrollable situations?

HELP IS HERE!! Our Doggy Manners class will give you the tools you need to resolve these issues and more!


Doggy Manners: Behaving in Real Life provides the skills necessary for your dog to be well‐mannered in real life situations:

  • Resolve behavior issues such as jumping up
  • Teach a reliable response to coming when called
  • Successful leash walking for the real world
  • Skills for stress‐free daily life with your dog

For dogs of any age in need of basic manners

Advanced Manners


Are you ready to take your training to the next level? Do you and your dog need a new challenge? Would you like to improve your dog’s recall and leash walk in high distractions?

GET READY TO HAVE FUN!! The Advanced Manners class will improve your dog’s skill level and teach you how to apply those skills in real life situations!


Advanced Manners provides the opportunity to improve on using your dog’s manners in real life situations.

  • Refine the Recall in high distraction environments
  • Successful use of manners in a variety of real life scenarios
  • Improve leash walking skills in high distractions
  • Achieve the AKC Canine Good Citizen designation

For dogs of any age; prerequisite – understanding of Basic Manners

Tails on the Trails


Summer is the perfect time to get out and enjoy the outdoors with your dog! Walking trails and parks can be intimidating and overwhelming if your dog is not ready for the challenge. Join our four week “Tails on the Trails” class to improve your dog walking skills!

LET’S HIT THE TRAILS!! The Tails on the Trails class will improve your dog’s on leash skills out in the real world!


Tails on the Trails provides the opportunity refine and improve on leash walking skills and manners in the real world:

  • Learn how to handle distractions and obtain focus from your dog
  • Effective tools for walking on park trails during busy summer evenings
  • Successful use of manners in a busy park setting
  • Enjoy fun outdoor time with your dog!

For dogs of any age ready for new challenges

Week 1 – East Paris Nature Park, Kentwood

Week 2 –  Creekside Park, Gaines Township

Week 3 –  Riverside Park, Grand Rapids

Week 4 – Riverside Park, Grand Rapids
