Puppy Class provides the skills necessary for your puppy to be a true family member:
- Successful house-training solutions

- Foundation behaviors for success in real life
Puppy class ages:
- Medium to Large breed: ages 10 weeks to 6 months
- Small breed (less than 25lbs full grown): ages 10 weeks to 12 months

Basic Manners Classes
Has your sweet puppy become a challenge? Ignoring you, stealing things, refusing to come, pulling on leash, and jumping on everyone? Do the slightest distractions result in uncontrollable situations?
HELP IS HERE!! Our Basic Manners class will give you the tools you need to resolve these issues and more!
Basic Manners Class provides the skills necessary for your dog to be well‐mannered in real life situations:
- Resolve behavior issues such as jumping up
- Teach a reliable response to coming when called
- Successful leash walking for the real world
- Skills for stress‐free daily life with your dog
Basic Manners class ages:
- Medium to large breed dogs 6 months and older
- Small breed dogs 12 months and older
- Any adult dog with no prior manners training

Advanced Puppy Classes
Had a fun and useful experience in Puppy Class?! Do you want to keep a good thing going? Continue learning with your puppy and building toward a successful, well-mannered adult dog with this class!
DON’T WAIT! While you are in a good rhythm with your puppy keep the learning going with the Advanced Puppy Class!
Advanced Puppy Class builds on the Puppy I and adds more of the skills necessary for your puppy to be successful in the real world:
- Continue improving focus and response in distracting situations
- Improve leash manners for long term success in real life
- Learn ways to get your puppy to settle and relax on Cue
- Develop a stronger connection to your puppy for a life time of accomplishments
Note: Prerequisite – Happy Tails Puppy Class OR private session work with Happy Tails
Advanced Puppy Class Age:
- 6 to 24 months old
- Plus completion of Puppy class, Basic Manners class, or other approved training with Happy Tails

Intermediate Manners Class age:
- 8 months or older
- Plus, completion of the Advanced Puppy class, Basic Manners class, or other approved training with Happy Tails

Advanced Manners Classes
Are you ready to take your training to the next level? Do you and your dog need a new challenge? Would you like to improve your dog’s recall and leash walk in high distractions?
GET READY TO HAVE FUN!! The Advanced Manners class will improve your dog’s skill level and teach you how to apply those skills in real life situations!
Advanced Manners provides the opportunity to improve on using your dog’s manners in real life situations.
- Refine the Recall in high distraction environments
- Successful use of manners in a variety of real-life scenarios
- Improve leash walking skills in high distractions
- Develop a solid Stay behavior in distractions and with distance
- Canine Good Citizen Testing available upon request: discuss with your trainer week one of class if you are interested
Note: Prerequisite – Happy Tails class(es) OR private session work with Happy Tails; if your dog has not worked with us before, an assessment with one of our trainers is required to participate in this class.

Advanced Manners Classes Available
Looking for the next step in engaging with your dog? Ready to have fun and to take your relationship-based training skills to a new level? Join us for our tricks and fun class!!
TIME FOR FUN AND NEW CHALLENGES WITH YOUR DOG! The Tricks and Fun class will challenge you and your dog to take your relationship to the next level learning tricks, games, and new ways to enjoy time with your dog!
Our trainers will teach a variety of tricks and enrichment games including:
- Crawl
- Get in a Box
- High Five
- Hoop
- Paws Up
- Push Up
- Shake
- Sit In A Box
- Spin & Twist
- Touch
- Do As I Do
- Identify the Different Item
Tricks-n-Fun Class age:
For dogs of any age meeting the prerequisite requirement: completion of Happy Tails class(es) OR private session work with Happy Tails; if your dog has not trained with us before, we require an in-person consultation with our training team prior to participating in this class. Your dog MUST be dog friendly, however we will NOT be allowing dogs to engage during class for the safety of ALL participants.

Tricks-n-Fun Class Times Available
Looking for the next step in engaging with your dog? Ready to get out and use your relationship-based training skills in parks and other real-life situations? Trail walks with new dog loving friends sound like a fun new challenge?
TIME FOR SUMMER FUN AND ADVENTURE WITH YOUR DOG! The Trails class will challenge you and your dog to take your relationship to the next level out in the real world!
Our trainers will take you and your dog to area parks and trails to provide additional coaching and relationship building while continuing to develop real life skills including:
- Refine and improve your leash handling skills in high distraction environments
- Improve decision making with the challenge of busy situations
- Work with you and your dog on when to relax and allow your dog to sniff versus when to ask your dog to focus on you
- Canine Good Citizen Testing available upon request: discuss with your trainer(s) week one of class if you are interested
Tails on the Trails Class age:
For dogs of any age meeting the prerequisite requirement: completion of Happy Tails class(es) OR private session work with Happy Tails; if your dog has not trained with us before, we require an in-person consultation with our training team prior to participating in this class. NOTE: This class is weather dependent. We will postpone class for inclement weather including excessive heat, rain, or storms. Your trainers will text, email, and call all class participants if class is postponed, as well as post on our social media platforms – Facebook and Instagram.

Important Policies
Please click HERE to review our policies and procedures on vaccinations, payments, cancellation, spay/neuter PRIOR to signing up for training. Please email or call us with any questions or concerns.
Rabies is a required (age appropriate) for all classes. Otherwise, we advise you to check with your vet’s recommendations for public activity – either vaccines or titer. We do not require Bordetella – aka kennel cough – or canine influenza as we do not permit dog play in our classes.
We strongly recommend you check with your vet prior to attending ANY activity involving other dogs at a public place.
A clean fecal test (within the last 6 months) is required to ensure the health and safety of dogs and humans on the premises.
